Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, products, and services provided by Rankwyre (“Rankwyre”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our site, requesting a quote, or engaging us for any service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Services

Rankwyre is a web design and development studio offering business websites, ecommerce, web apps, SEO, redesigns, maintenance, and related services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are set out in a separate written proposal, statement of work, or order form (an “Order”). Where an Order conflicts with these Terms, the Order controls for that engagement.

2. Proposals & Quotes

Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days unless stated otherwise and are estimates based on the information available at the time. Material changes to scope may require a revised quote. Work begins once an Order is accepted and any required deposit is received.

3. Client Responsibilities

To deliver on time, we rely on you to provide accurate content, brand assets, access credentials, and timely feedback. Delays in providing these may extend timelines. You confirm that any materials you supply do not infringe the rights of any third party.

4. Fees & Payment

• Unless otherwise agreed, projects require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on completion or per the milestones in your Order.
• Invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days. Late amounts may accrue interest and pause active work.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own the final deliverables produced specifically for you, excluding any third-party assets, fonts, plugins, or open-source components, which remain governed by their own licenses. Rankwyre retains ownership of pre-existing tools, frameworks, and know-how, and may display the completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

6. Revisions

Each Order specifies the number of revision rounds included. Additional revisions or out-of-scope requests are billed at our then-current rates.

7. Warranties & Liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, services are provided “as is” without further warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rankwyre’s total liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Cancellation

Either party may end an engagement with written notice. You remain responsible for work completed and costs incurred up to the cancellation date. Cancellation of recurring services is covered in our Refunds & Cancellations policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you accept an Order applies to that engagement. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
